Elizabeth Death has a broad base in social policy and service delivery coupled with a strong record of achievement in both the public and not for profit sectors. Elizabeth has worked in Minister’s offices, government departments, universities and not for profit organisations at national and state levels with a focus on education, aboriginal affairs, community services, and remote communities, bringing a particular depth in early childhood education.
Elizabeth has held a number of executive management positions across the eastern seaboard and the Northern Territory. Her responsibilities included service delivery of up to 150 education and community services and regulation of up to 248 early childhood education services in urban, rural and remote communities. She has lead staff teams of up to 2000, and successfully managed budgets up to $77 million. Elizabeth’s management style is strategic and integrated, and her ability to think laterally, take calculated risks, utilise evidence and adapt to challenges has brought about successful policy, procedure and cultural change in these organisations.
Elizabeth has represented government on national committees and peak early childhood organisations in advocacy, policy and service delivery forums.
Elizabeth’s co-authorship of a major early childhood education text book and relationships across the early childhood education sector nationally enables her to maintain currency and credibility within the education and community sectors.
Allen has held several board positions in the for-purpose and for-profit sectors including a top ten company. He has written and presented training in governance to board members. He has also worked with boards to provide support and advice on strategic planning and strategic financial planning.
Allen has held several positions in senior Corporate Services roles and acting CEO roles. Through this practical experience and his consulting assignments Allen has developed substantial knowledge of the HR, IR, IT, Finance and governance areas.
Allen’s extensive consulting experience has involved working with CEOs and boards in a variety of organisations including several large children’s services providers. He has also written two major tenders in the children’s services sector one of which was a state-wide tender for Early Childhood Inclusion Support services.
He has also provided: executive coaching to several CEOs and general counselling services through his previous counselling practice which also six psychologists working with him.
Allen has also had extensive experience as a Senior IT Consultant and as an IT manager in a wide range of industries including government, retail, manufacturing, electronics and community services.
Allen has advised industry organisations, was appointed to ministerial advisory committees and was a fellow of the Asian Research Centre at Murdoch University. He has also conducted industry development research throughout South East Asia.
